Know where your roof stands
Brookhaven Roof Inspections, Explained Patiently
Top side, underside and everything between. Then an explanation you can actually follow.
Peace of Mind Starts With a Good Look
Roofs age quietly. From the street, most look about the same until something goes wrong inside the house. An inspection lets you get ahead of that. We begin on the roof itself, walking each slope that is safe to walk. Shingles are checked for granule loss, curling, cracks, hail bruising and lifted tabs. Flashing is checked where the roof meets walls and in the valleys. Every vent and pipe collar is examined, along with drip edge, ridge cap and the gutters. Then we head into the attic. The underside of the deck often reveals what the top hides: old water stains, damp insulation, daylight around nails, or air that is too hot and still. Each concern is photographed. Afterward, we sit with you and walk through the pictures, explaining what is normal for a roof of its age, what deserves attention soon and what can safely wait. Sometimes the answer is simply that the roof is fine. That is a good answer too. Either way, you leave the conversation knowing where things stand, with photos you can keep for your records or share with an insurer or buyer.
